We Say...
Good white Bordeaux at this price is hard to find but we've done it. Welsh-owned vineyard, Chateau du Seuil has created this golden delight from 80% Semillon, 20% Sauvignon and is fermented in new oak. Its full fresh and fruity, with an aromatic nose and glows golden in your glass. If you think youve tried white Bordeaux, think again! Great with shellfish or deli meats and will age for up to five years.
A very good wine but lacking that little bit extra for the magic score.

Our favourite! Delicious. Ordered more of this and it won't last the 5 years!

I had 2 bottle of this in a case. I enjoyed the first bottle, but the 2nd bottle I opened wasn't as nice and there were crystals floating in it.

Purchased at the wine festival in Manchester, one of the best one we sampled

This does what it says on the tin!
Bitter with an unpleasant aftertaste.

Not my style of white wine at all, too oaky not light and fresh.
The Wine Maker Says...
Name:Sean and Nicola Allison Country:France
The wines from this appellation take their name from the river gravel that covers the entire plateau. This gravel is combined with sand, clay and limestone which all contribute to the uniqueness of the Graves and the characteristic minerality which is expressed in the wines.
The Semillon element is partially fermented in new French oak barrels using the Oxoline system and bottled 6-9 months after the harvest. It is a wine that will develop interesting flavours with bottle age and will keep for up to 5 years. The wine is of an appealing golden colour, has a fresh aromatic bouquet, and is full and fruity with a long aftertaste.
